My name is Christian Perea, I am a Software Engineer based out of NYC. Coming from an Automotive Technology background, I am no stranger to problem solving and working in a fast paced environment while maintiaing excellent quality work. I started AppAcademy in January of 2020 and the journey to become an engineer was on its way. Weekly I was putting in 80-100+ hours of coding to reach my goal. Along the way i became profficient with many technologies including, JavaScript, ReactJS / Redux, Node.js, JQuery, Ruby, HTML5, CSS3, Rails, SQL, NoSQL, and Git. Besides coding I love working on my project cars for fun. Tearing a car all the way down to the engine and building it back up to be stronger and faster than before is a feeling like no other. I'm also a guitarist who plays any free chance I get, taking inspiration from the greats like Jimmy Page, David Gilmour, Rhandy Roads, etc...
